Rick Gilliland is a husband, father, writer, and entrepreneur.

His life revolves around family, whatever project is currently underway, and a growing micro-farm.

When he has free time, Rick is usually building or fixing something, hiking, or writing. He has a particular appreciation for good stories, especially the ones that are complicated, uncomfortable, funny, and true.

He lives in the upstate of South Carolina with his family.
